VISA PROCESSING SERVICES
- Determine the appropriate type of visa (Investor, Working, Permanent)
- Process all documents with the Bureau of Immigration (BI)
- Process all documents with the Department of Labor and Employment
Applying for a Philippine visa will require that the applicant’s passport be valid for six (6) months beyond the applicant’s date of departure from the Philippines. The Philippine Embassies/Consulates will only accept electronic passports and machine readable passports for visa applications. Non-machine readable passports or hand-scripted passports will not be accepted for visa applications.
BELOW ARE THE TYPE OF PHILIPPINE VISAS
NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS
- Temporary Visitor’s Visa - Issued for pleasure, business, or health.
- Transient’s Visa - Intended for transit purposes.
- Seaman’s Visa - Granted to seamen serving on vessels arriving/docking at ports in the Philippines, seeking temporary entry.
- Treaty Trader/Investor Visa - Designed for foreign businessmen engaged in trade or commerce between the Philippines and their country.
- Diplomatic Visa - Reserved for foreign officials recognized by the Philippine government, as well as their families, attendants, servants, and employees.
- Student Visa - Granted to foreign students studying in educational institutions recognized by the Philippine government.
- Pre-arranged Employment Visa - Issued for prearranged employees and their dependents.
- Non-Commercial Missionary 9g Visa - Intended for foreign nationals engaged in missionary, social, or rehabilitation activities, and so forth.
NON-QUOTA IMMIGRANT VISAS
- Marriage Visa – Issued to the spouse or unmarried child under twenty-one (21) years of age of a Philippine citizen.
- Visa – Granted to a child of foreign parents born during a temporary visit abroad of the mother.
- Visa – Provided to a woman who lost her Philippine citizenship due to marriage with a foreign national or for a woman whose husband lost his Philippine citizenship.
- Visa – Offered to individuals with permanent residence in the Philippines returning to the country from a temporary visit abroad.
- Visa – Extended to the spouse or unmarried child, under the age of twenty-one (21), of a foreign national admitted for permanent residence in the Philippines and is a resident of the country.
- Visa – Granted to a natural-born citizen of the Philippines, who has been naturalized in a foreign country.
IMMIGRANT VISAS UNDER SECTION 13
- Quota Immigrant Visa - designated for citizens of foreign countries with diplomatic relations in the Philippines, granting them the same immigration privileges as Philippine citizens. The Bureau of Immigration issues no more than fifty (50) Quota visas per calendar year for any one nationality or stateless individuals. Nationals subject to restrictions are ineligible for this type of visa.
OTHER NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS/ PERMITS
- Subic Special Working Visa - This visa is designed for foreign nationals employed in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
- Special Temporary Permit - This permit is intended for foreign nationals seeking to practice regulated professions in the Philippines.
- Special Work Permit - Reserved for foreign nationals employed and working in the Philippines for a duration of three to six months.
- Provisional Work Permit - Issued to foreign nationals who will work for local entities while awaiting their Alien Employment Permits or 9g employment visas
SPECIAL VISAS
- Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV) - Designed for qualified foreign nationals willing to invest a minimum of USD 75,000 in either existing or new corporations in the Philippines. This visa is available to entities in various categories, including publicly listed corporations, those engaged in industries listed in the Investment Priorities Plan (IPP), and corporations in the manufacturing or service sectors.
- Special Visa for Employment Generation (SVEG) - Intended for foreign nationals committed to employing at least ten (10) Philippine citizens in an enterprise, trade, or industry.
- Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) - Reserved for foreign nationals aged thirty-five (35) years or older who hold a significant amount of deposit with the designated/accredited bank.

Special Non-Immigrant Visas (PEZA) - Available for foreign nationals/personnel in Philippine Economic Zone Authority Registered Enterprises, Board of Investment Registered Enterprises, and oil drilling companies.

ROHQ/RHQ Special Non-Immigrant Visa - Reserved for foreign personnel of Regional/Area Headquarters (RHQ) or Regional/Area Operating Headquarters (ROHQ).

Special Employment Visa for Offshore Banking Unit (SEVOBU) - Intended for foreign nationals assigned by any foreign bank to work in its offshore banking unit in the Philippines.
