MANAGEMENT TEAM

JOHN CHRISTIAN B. SABAL

Managing Partner

John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines.

His previous work experience with local and international consulting firms has provided him with extensive expertise in audit, management advisory, and tax support services. In April 2017, he founded JC Sabal and Associates, CPAs, a professional services company specializing in Accounting, Outsourcing and Payroll Services, Audit & Assurance, Company Set-up and Registrations, Financial Due Diligence, Tax Compliance Support Services, and other Human Resource-related services.

John is also a licensed insurance adviser by the Insurance Commission. He is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP), and a partner of XERO Accounting Software in the Philippines. In a socio-civic capacity, he served two terms as president of the Rotary Club of Batasan Hills (District 3780) for the years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.

He acts as an independent and compliance director for several local and foreign companies operating in the Philippines. He was also commissioned as an independent CPA by the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA) as an expert to review tax cases.

CATALINA B. BORABO

Head Accounting & Outsourcing Services

Cath is a Certified Public Accountant.

She has extensive experience in financial reporting, internal audit, back-office support, and as a part-time professor. She has worked for companies such as Shell Services Manila, St. Dominic Savio College, and Accenture Inc. She is also a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Catalina is a Partner of the Firm.

Maechel B. Sabal

Head Accounting & Outsourcing Services

Her experience with customer relationships and consulting companies like Mazars Philippines, Inc., Convergys Phils, Inc., APAC Customer Services, and A.M.YU & Associates CPAs has enabled her to accumulate knowledge in handling solutions for clients' business operation needs in fields such as accounting, monthly financial reporting, monthly tax compliance, and payroll services. With her expertise in financial reporting and people management, Mae is the firm's Head of Accounting and Outsourcing Services.
